My name is Zainab and I am a Qualified Solicitor in London having completed my training contract in March 2022. I graduated from City, University of London and the University of Law having completed the LLB LLM LPC.

I started to share my journey in October 2019 to help me stay accountable but also reflect on my own journey. I'm an advocate for change starting with making law more accessible to everyone and empowering aspiring lawyers to believe in themselves.

I am a mentor to several aspiring solicitors who include undergraduate students, master and LPC students. This is in participation with various initiatives.

By way of background, I completed my A-levels in 2013. I studied the LLB and graduated in 2016. During this time I volunteered at a high street law firm and was a CityBuddy to other undergraduate students. Having graduated, I volunteered Citizens Advice and worked part-time at a law firm in the city. I started the LPC in 2017 on a part-time basis and in 2018, I worked at The Law Society in Chancery Lane. I then started my experience as a paralegal in 2019 and started my training contract in 2020.
