Happy Wednesday! Some mid-week tips on staying motivated.
Repetitive schedules can get tedious, especially when there is no motivation around you or connecting with others to help you feel that sense of belonging and collaboration. It's important to always remind yourself that hopefully the current situation is a temporary measure that will pass.
In the meantime, here are my tips on staying motivated and some motivational images that I thought I would also share:
Have a vision to work towards - this can be short-term and long-term goals which directly relate to why you started what you are working on and where you intend to reach
Write your goals down and look at them regularly - this is a useful reminder
Embrace change and adapt easily - it is inevitable and the less you fight it, the easier your journey is
Surround yourself with like-minded people - they influence how you think and what you are working on. You want to work hard, surround yourself with hard workers!
When your body or mind is telling you that you need a break, reward yourself with one - do not force yourself to study or work as it is waste of time and energy.
Break down big tasks into smaller, digestible steps which lead you up the staircase in a balanced and healthy way. Don't expect to run before you can walk!
If a certain approach towards studying or work is not working, try a different approach - change it up until you find something comfortable and useful.
