Another post for the Commercial Law and Contract Law series of notes - this revolves are the reservation of title and when title of the goods passes to the buyer. This then becomes relevant where there is a breach of contract and for example, the buyer has possession of the goods but has not yet made payment. The seller will want to enforce a remedy. Retention of goods will depend on the types of goods.
Where references are made to a section, it is in reference to the Sale of Goods Act 1979, unless stated otherwise.
