I have completed my second seat of my training contract! (Crazy thought!!) I had my end of seat review on Friday with my supervisor and supervising partner.
On the whole I was extremely humbled by the things they said - its so funny how others pick up on things that you don’t think about again!
In addition to the positive feedback, some areas of development were shared such as saying the same thing in an email using less words especially as a litigator!
I found my litigation and employment seat super interesting and although I don’t want to qualify into litigation I have definitely learnt so much from it and experienced a variety of work which was great!!
Going forward my next seat is PROPERTY LAW!! I’m excited to get back into transactional work but also recognise that as a third seat trainee, more will be expected and one thing mentioned was to accept more responsibility and be challenged more often - here’s to what is to come :)
After the review I had a lovely team lunch to celebrate with my colleagues and received a gift!
